6 Martin Roemers prints bought by Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum

6 prints from Martin Roemers’ award-winning The Eyes of War, a series of portraits of people who lost their sight as children, young adults or soldiers as a result of the Second World War, have been bought by Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum. They become part of a unique collection of almost 144,000 photographs at this prestigious venue joining such photographic legends as Jacques-Henri Lartigue, Man Ray and Laszlo Moholy-Nagy.
