From cafes set up in terraced houses to the giant Melas (gatherings) of more recent years, Britain’s Asian communities have always sought to express themselves and their culture. This film explores how Asian people who settled in Bradford in the 1950s and 60s found ways to make Bollywood, Bhangra and bhajiis a familiar part of British life.
