Tim Smith selected as Royal Photographic Society Speaker for 2013.

Panos photographer Tim Smith has been selected as the new Royal Photographic Society Speaker for 2013. For the remainder of the year he is travelling the country sharing his experiences as a professional photographer with regional groups of the RPS, the world’s largest and most prestigious photographic society. His illustrated talks are also open to students and members of the public. Entitled From the Local to the Global the talks will include work from Britain, India, Pakistan, Yemen, Ukraine, Nigeria, Rwanda and the Caribbean.

Confirmed dates for talks include:

Leeds – 10th Oct.
Bildeston (Suffolk) – 13th Oct.
Bath – 9th Nov.
Plymouth 10th Nov.
London 7 or 8th Dec tbc.
Manchester 15th Dec.
