Conflict and climate change have had a major impact on food security in sub-Saharan Africa where many countries are experiencing dangerous levels of hunger and malnutrition. The exhibition features stories of individuals and communities in places where conflict, political instability and climate change are reducing people’s ability to grow or buy enough food – often with devastating results. It also shows how relatively simple interventions can reverse the impact of hunger and malnutrition.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by the photographer, staff members of Panos, the staff of Concern Worldwide in London and the charity’s CEO, Dominic MacSorley, who gave a moving speech about the work of Concern over the past decades.
