Shiho Fukada wins Overseas Press Club of America award

Shiho Fukada has won the Feature Photography prize at the Overseas Press Club of America Awards with her series about elderly Japanese women who choose to go to prison to escape loneliness.

Filmmaker Fábio Erdos joins Panos

We are pleased to announce that Brazilian filmmaker and photographer Fábio Erdos has joined Panos.
Fábio focuses on documenting stories through a personal and intimate narrative, aiming to bring awareness to, and most importantly, have an impact on social and environmental issues.
His most recent film, Marielle and Monica, a documentary on Monica Benicio, the widow of Brazilian politician and LGBT human rights activist Marielle Franco, is nominated for a World Press Photo Award.
