Shot for the Fairtrade Foundation UK, this video shows the fair-trade banana-growing Coobana cooperative in Panama which has resisted pressure from big international corporations and is providing a sustainable alternative for struggling small-scale farmers. The video is intended to encourage UK consumers to buy fair-trade bananas in order to support cooperatives like this one and allow small-scale growers to make a better living.
