30,000 Panos images available on the ARTStor Digital Library

We are very pleased to announce that a selection of 30,000 images from the Panos archive are now available on ARTStor, an independent non-profit organisation which aims to “work with the international community to build an online image library and to use digital technology to enhance teaching and research.”

The entire ARTStor library currently consists of 1.4 million images covering the arts, architecture, humanities and sciences from institutions and individuals including The Courtauld Institute of Art (London), The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and Magnum Photos. Over 1,400 educational institutions and museums in 40 countries use the ARTStor collection in teaching and research and the collection is constantly expanding.
