“A Great British Welcome” exhibition at More London

Panos Pictures has teamed up with UNHCR, the UN’s refugee agency, to produce an exhibition of portraits telling the stories of individuals, organisations and communities across the UK who are welcoming people that have been forced to flee their homes in other countries.

Award-winning photographer Andrew Testa travelled the length and breadth of the country – from the Isle of Bute to Liverpool and Bristol – meeting people who have sought refuge in Britain. The images are particularly poignant in light of negative recent statements by the British government about refugees and asylum seekers.

“Great British Welcome” will be exhibited at More London from 3rd October until 1st November 2023.
