Panos photographers shortlisted for Felix Schoeller Photo Awards

Three Panos photographers – Iva Zimova, Axel Sulzbacher and Markel Redondo – have been shortlisted for Felix Schoeller Photo Awards.

Iva’s work on Ukrainian army veterans who have lost limbs in combat is shortlisted for the German Peace Prize for Photography.

Axel’s reportage on the dangerous world of avocado production in Mexico where criminal gangs have taken over a lucrative industry is up for the Sustainability prize.

and Markel Redondo’s long term project on the remnants of Spain’s burst property bubble of 2008 – 2014 is also short-listed for the Sustainability prize.
