Chris de Bode recently travelled to northern Cameroon to document the local food crisis, precipitated by climate change and a simmering insurrection by Islamists from Boko Haram in neighbouring Nigeria, commissioned by the British Red Cross. The work will be shown in an exhibition at London’s St Martin in the Fields church on Trafalgar Square from the end of May.
