As a migrant women from the countryside she faced strong discrimination and sexual harassment from her male counterparts. To defend her rights and also those of her colleagues she joined efforts to create the first Union of Women Construction Workers, which she believes will protect its members while helping other women in the same situation. She hopes that it could potentially lead to major changes in the sector and society.
